June 4th, 2004. Dublin Castle in Ireland. I stated in Volume 4 of the Featured Photo (titled "Songs for the Castle") that "This was the show of the summer...People who were there are still raving about it, and people who weren't are still kicking themselves for not being there." Well, nearly six months later, I'm still hearing about this night. So I thought I'd revisit that night for this installment of the Featured Photo.
All Josh Ritter fans know Darius Zelkha: he's been Josh's kick-ass drummer and manager for years. But this summer, it's no secret that Darius sat some tours out while he took care of Josh behind the scenes and took care of a recent "blessing" at home. So it was real special when Darius appeared onstage, to join the band - this time lending his tambourine skills.
