| Last fall, Birgit had only known of one Josh Ritter song (from the Lisdoonvarna Compilation) and it was "Man Burning". Great song, but we all know that. So she, her Mom, and a friend made sure they went to see Josh when he played The Granary in Buckingham, England on December 6, 2003. Well, Josh doesn't play "Man Burning" nearly enough in concert (especially solo) so when Birgit found herself talking to Josh after the show and mentioned the song - outside in the carpark - Josh decided to get his guitar, go over to her table, and sing the song for her. And the full pint there is Josh's. When a man neglects his beer to sing for one of his fans - at her table, and AFTER the concert is finished - you know we're talking about a cool, cool dude.
